SessionBuilder

Experiments are created with SessionBuilder. The software allows the practitioner to edit session parameters using a simple user-friendly Windows® application. This flexible component allows the clinician to use a combination of either visual and/or auditory stimulus.

SessionBuilder contains features that offer even the most seasoned clinician an advanced level of experimental design. These advanced features are available exclusively in PrefTest Professional Suite™. Onset and offset times of all physiological channels can be easily configured and saved to file.

PrefTest Professional Suite supports all types of Windows® media. As an alternative to digital media, the product also allows for the use of slide projectors, a VCR, or tape recorder. Limestone Technologies Inc. encourages the use of digital stimulus and can provide assistance to convert legacy stimuli, e.g. slides, video-tape.

The clinician enjoys an easy-to-understand graphical Windows environment that is practical and easy to understand.

PresentSession

PresentSession is used to present to a subject the stimulus that has been configured and saved using SessionBuilder.

High-resolution real-time graphs scroll the clinician's display to reveal precisely how the subject is responding to the presented stimulus. The subject's reaction data are collected and saved to the computer's hard disk drive during the entire experiment.

Given that this application is the backbone of PrefTest Professional Suite, a great deal of flexibility is offered to the clinician. The desktop can be arranged and all graphs resized or colored to suit the end user's needs. Plot speed and ranges can be easily adjusted.

The clinician can use the optional USB camera to record all of the audio/visual from a live session. This information can be easily archived to CDR or DVDRW thanks to CD authoring tools contained within PrefTest Professional Suite.

A convenient message posting feature is available to post text messages to the subject's display during a session.

Visual feedback to the subject can be enabled allowing the subject to monitor their physical reactions during a session.

A comment Window can be used to take notes during the session. These notes are saved before exiting PresentSession and can be viewed later with PrefReport.

PrefEdit
	The PrefEdit component allows the clinician to review experimental data and remove any spikes or anomalies that might need to be eliminated prior to generating a report. The edited file must be saved as a separate archive, ensuring that the original data is left unaltered anad available.

PrefReport

The PrefReport component gives the clinician the calculated results and graphs for all physiological data measured during the experiment. Calculations, including mean, peak, and mean pre-stimulus baseline are completed for each measured variable (e.g., viewing time, penile tumescence, skin conductance, respiration and heart rate). Z scores are calculated as well. For your convenience, there is an option to export the data files into other software products such as SPSS or Excel for more extensive analysis. Although PrefReport does contain all of the relevant data acquisition information collected during the session, it is important to note that it does not provide a diagnosis, medical or otherwise. This is the responsibility of the clinician.

	A PrefTest Professional Suite User's Manual is available at any time from any component. Limestone Technologies Inc. has taken every step to ensure that you are up and running in a minimal amount of time.

Calibration Utility for Penile Gauges
	This utility is used to calibrate the strain gauge so that measurements can be displayed and calculated as linear representations of actual millimeters of stretch.
